主講人簡介:Dr. Zuo-Feng Zhang is a Distinguished Professor and Chair of the Department of Epidemiology at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. His research focuses on cancer molecular epidemiology, cancer risk, and cancer prevention and control. His research team investigates environmental exposures, including active and passive tobacco smoking, air pollution, alcohol consumption, and dietary factors. He also studies genetic factors such as mutations, methylation, and polymorphisms of tumor suppressor genes, as well as genome-wide association studies of cancer, molecular epidemiology, and precision medicine. Dr. Zhang has made significant contributions to alcohol and cancer research, with over 80 publications on the topic.Dr. Zhang has published a total of 457 scientific articles, 25 book chapters, and 9 letters to the editor. Among these publications, he has served as the first author, senior author, corresponding author, Chair of PhD Committees, or primary mentor to junior faculty for over 200 peer-reviewed papers. According to Google Scholar, his scientific publications have been cited more than 38,705 times, with an H-index of 110. Citation analysis from Scopus shows that his 472 articles listed in the Scopus database have garnered 27,142 citations, averaging 57.5 citations per paper, with a Scopus H-index of 92 — a strong indicator of his productivity and impact. Since 2011, his research papers have received at least 1,000 citations annually.Dr. Zhang has played a pivotal role in mentorship and academic development. He has served as Chair of the PhD Committee for over 40 PhD graduates and as a member of the PhD Committee for over 50 PhD graduates. Additionally, he has trained more than 30 post-doctoral fellows and 50 international scholars, fostering the next generation of researchers and public health leaders.
